Nepal has received a 140-run target from Australia in the third match of the ICC U-19 Women's World Cup underway in Malaysia.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi, Australia notched up 139 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Caoimhe Bray topped the score with 45 runs including 3 fours and 3 sixes off 34 balls followed by Eleanor Larosa with 31 balls while Hasrat Gill and Chloe Ainsworth contributed 30 and 16 balls, respectively. The other batters could not achieve significant runs.
On the bowling side, Puja Mahato took the highest 3 wickets followed by Seemana KC with 2 wickets while Riya Sharma grabbed 1 wicket for Nepal.
