Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburg, is arriving in Nepal today. Edward and his wife Sophie will arrive in Kathmandu at 1 pm today, sources have said.

The delegation led by Edward is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel at Shital Niwas at 4 pm, according to sources.

Edward and Sophie will visit Ghandruk, Annapurna mountain range and British Gurkha Camp in Pokhara, according to UK media outlets.

A squad of Nepali Police and Nepali Army will provide security during the couple's Nepal visit.

Prince Edward, the youngest brother of King Charles III, is arriving in Nepal after wrapping up his three-day visit to India.

Prince Edward arrived in Mumbai on Sunday as a part of his three-day visit aimed at celebrating the longstanding ties between India and the UK, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
