A youth who was staying with a girl at a hotel in Birtamod, Jhapa was found dead.
The police have arrested the woman and the owner of the hotel after the youth was found dead.
Sagar Besra, 30, of Haldibari-1, Goldhap, who was staying with a 23-year-old Muna BK at Everest Hotel and Lodge in Birtamod, has been found dead, said DSP Krishna Kumar Chand of the District Police Office, Jhapa.
"Sagar had stayed with 23-year-old Muna BK of Sunsari at Everest Hotel in Birtamod last night," DSP Chanda told Nepalkhabar, "We have taken Muna and the hotel owner Yamkumari Uprety after Sagar was found dead."
Muna, a permanent resident of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-15, had been staying in Jhapa. Sagar and Muna are not husband and wife, according to DSP Chand.
They went to bed after dinner last night. Muna told the police that she saw him collapse by door of their attached bathroom last night.
After having found collapsed, Muna and the hotel owner whisked Sagar to a hospital for treatment. When the doctor examined him, he found that Sagar had already passed away, said DSP Chand.
The police said that they are carrying out further investigation into the case.
