Hong Kong has defeated Nepal by 2 runs in the 6th match of the Women's T20I Quadrangular Series underway in Uganda.
Mariko Hill grabbed 2 wickets giving away 21 runs while Alison Siu and Kary Chan took 1 wicket each for Hong Kong to restrict Nepal from reaching the target.
Despite captain Indu Barma's 32-run score, Nepal could not reach the target set by Hong Kong. Barma hit 2 fours off 33 balls followed by Puja Mahato with 19 runs while Bindu Rawal and Roma Thapa contributed 14 and 13 runs, respectively. Sana Praveen scored 10 runs. The other batters could not score double-digit runs.

Earlier, invited to bat after losing the toss at the Entebbe Cricket Oval, Entebbe in Uganda, Hong Kong scored 100 runs losing 7 wicket in the allotted 20 overs.
Captain Natasha Miles topped the score with 35 runs including 3 fours off 42 deliveries followed by Mariko Hill with 21 runs while Kary Chan and Yasmin Daswani contributed 12 and 11 runs, respectively. The other batters could not achieve double-digit runs.
On the bowling side, Ishwori Bist and Indu Barma took 2 wickets each while Puja Mahato and Rachana Chaudhary grabbed 1 wicket each for Nepal.
Nepal, which lost to Namibia in the first match, defeated home team Uganda by 1 wicket on Sunday.
Nepal will now play against Namibia on Wednesday, Uganda on Thursday and Hong Kong on Friday. The match will be played at the Entebbe Cricket Oval, Entebbe in Uganda.
