Govt decides to provide Rs 1 mln each to deceased of Tinkune incident

The government has decided to provide Rs 1 million each to the families of those killed at Tinkune incident in Kathmandu.

A meeting of the Home Ministry held on Wednesday decided to provide Rs 1 million each to journalist Suresh Rajak and Sabin Maharjan of Kirtipur who lost their lives at Tinkune demonstration that occured on March 28.

The demonstration had been organized by pro-monarchists led by controversial medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, the secretariat of the Home Ministry told Nepalkhabar.
