Nepal stands with India against terrorism, PM Oli tells Modi over phone after Kashmir attack

A telephone conversation has taken place between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. 

Following the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Oli expressed his condolences during the telephone conversation with Modi on Wednesday.

"The two Prime Ministers discussed the terrorist attack carried out in Kashmir," stated Oli’s Secretariat. Prime Minister Oli expressed his sorrow over the incident and reiterated solidarity against terrorism, according to the Secretariat.

Following the telephone call, Oli took to social media, saying, "I spoke with Honorable Prime Minister Modi and conveyed my deep condolences for the lives lost in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. I reiterated Nepal’s unwavering solidarity with India against such barbaric acts."

The death toll in the Jammu-Kashmir terrorist attack has reached 28 including a Nepali national, according to Indian media outlets.
