The head coach of the Nepali national cricket team, Stuart Law, has arrived in Nepal.
He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday. Officials from the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) were present at the airport to welcome him.
CAN is set to begin practice matches starting tomorrow, Saturday, involving 52 players. The association is also preparing to officially introduce head coach Stuart Law before the practice matches.
Stuart will observe these practice matches and build the team according to his plans.
For player selection, CAN has formed four teams and is preparing to conduct a two-phase league.
CAN had appointed Stuart, a former Australian batsman, as head coach for two years starting from March 28.
Before this, Stuart had worked as the head coach of the American team. Prior to that, he had also served in various roles with the cricket teams of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Australia.
