World Cup League 2: Nepal batting against Netherlands

Nepal is batting against Netherlands in the final match of the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular ODI series. After winning the toss at Forthill in Dundee, Scotland, Netherlands elected to field first and invited Nepal to bat.

The match kicked off at 3:45 PM local time. Having defeated the Netherlands by 5 wickets in their first encounter, the Nepali team aims to secure back-to-back victories.

Nepal has won two out of three matches in the series so far, with one loss, and hopes to end the series on a high note by defeating Netherlands today. In their first match, Nepal defeated Scotland by 1 wicket.

They then secured a 5-wicket victory over Netherlands in their second game. However, in their third match, Nepal suffered a narrow 2-run defeat against Scotland and is now looking for their third win in the series.

On the other hand, Netherlands, having lost both of their matches in the series so far, is searching for their first victory. After losing to Nepal in their first match, Netherlands faced a 44-run defeat against Scotland in their second game.

In the League-2 points table, Nepal is currently in seventh place with 10 points from 4 wins, 9 loses and 2 draws out of 15 matches.

Meanwhile, Netherlands, having played the most matches (22) in the league, is in second place with 12 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws, totaling 26 points.

After the League-2 series, the Nepali team will participate in a triangular T20I series against Scotland and Netherlands.
