Maoist Center claims Finance and Foreign Affairs ministries

CPN (Maoist Center) has claimed for the portfolios of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Finance.

According to Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the spokesperson of the party, the Maoist Center will claim for the portfolios of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Finance in the meeting of the seven-party alliance.

The meeting is taking place at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwar to allocate the ministerial portfolios among the parties participating in the Prachanda-led cabinet.

The parties are engaged in sharing the portfolios after Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda was appointed as the 44th prime minister of Nepal on Sunday.

He is taking oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas at 4 pm today.
