Karnali Yaks has set a 150-run target for Biratnagar Kings in the 16th match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Season 2, underway in Kirtipur.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU International Cricket Ground on Friday, Karnali notched up 160 runs losing 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Priyank Panchal topped the score with 63 runs including 6 fours and 2 sixes off 47 balls before being run out. Similarly, William Bosisto scored 48 not-out runs while Gulsan Jha and Najibullah Zadran contributed 20 and 12 runs, respectively. Likewise, Mark Watt collected 6 runs.
On the bowling side, Marchant de Lange and Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed 1 wicket each for Biratnagar Kings.
Karnali, which has two points from three matches, is under pressure to register a win today to continue the play-off journey.
Biratnagar is in the second position with six points from four matches. Biratnagar's play-off journey will be eased if the team secures its win today.
