Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has called a virtual meeting of security bodies.
Nepal Police Spokesperson Tek Prasad Rai told Nepalkhabar that a meeting of the security apparatus was called at 9 am today (Monday).
He said the meeting was called as the Home Minister wanted to be briefed about the security situation.
The meeting will be attended by all 77 chief district officers and heads of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Central Investigation Bureau.
It is said that peace and security, and problems faced by common citizens would be discussed in the meeting.
After that, a meeting of the Disaster Management Committee has also been called at 2 pm. CDOs of all 77 districts will attend the disaster committee meeting.
