As a buildup to the tournament starting February 7, ICC Men's T20 World Cup trophy tour is set to be held in Nepal as part of its global tour.
Issuing a press note on Wednesday, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the official cricket governing body, said the T20- World Cup Trophy Tour will be held in Nepal from January 5 to 7.
The T-20 World Cup will be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.
Nepal, Bangladesh, England, Italy and West Indies will participate in the tournament. Nepal will take on England on February 8.
Similarly, Nepal is scheduled to take on Italy on February 12, West Indies on February 15 and Bangladesh on February 17.
The participating teams have been categorized into four groups. The top two teams of each group will book berth in Super 8.
Four teams from Super 8 will enter semi-finals. The final will be held on March 8.
