Nepal lost to Italy by 10 wickets in its second group stage match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup held at the Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.
Italy secured a historic maiden victory after it chased down Nepal's 124-run in 12. 4 overs losing no wickets.
Anthony Mosca and Justin Mosca notched up 62 and 60 not out runs, respectively. Anthony hit 3 fours and 6 sixes off 32 deliveries while Justin made 5 fours and 3 sixes off 44 balls.

On the bowling side, Nepal failed to take any wickets, despite having chances.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal had notched up 123 runs in 19.3 overs.
Aarif Sheikh's 27-run score was the highest for Nepal. Sheikh hit 3 fours off 35 balls while captain Rohit Paudel, Aasif Sheikh, Karan KC and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 23, 20, 18 and 17 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not score any runs.
In reply, Crishan Kalugamage took the highest 3 wickets followed by Ben Manenti with 2 wickets while Ali Hasan, JJ Smuts and Jaspreet Singh grabbed 1 wicket each for Italy.

There are four groups, each having five teams in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Nepal is in Group C alongside Italy, West Indies, Scotland and England. Top two teams from each group will advance into the Super 8.
The T20 World Cup, featuring 20 teams, has been taking place in India and Sri Lanka since February 7, simultaneously.
With the second consecutive loss, Nepal has been relegated to the bottom of the points table without points. Italy climbed the fourth position with 2 points from one loss and one win.

West Indies is atop the points table with 4 points from two consecutive wins followed by Scotland and England with equal 2 points. Scotland is in the second position based on run rate.
Nepal will now play West Indies in its third group stage match on Sunday. The match will start at 11 am. Similarly, it will face Scotland in its final group stage match on Tuesday.
