Kamala Pant has been nominated as the leader of Nepali Congress parliamentary party (PP) in the National Assembly.
NC PP leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe nominated Pant as the parliamentary party leader of the National Assembly. Earlier, Krishna Sitaula was the leader of NC parliamentary party in the National Assembly. Angdembe replaced him and nominated Pant as the leader.
In accordance with the NC parliamentary party statute (including amendments and modifications, 2083), the Parliamentary Party (PP) Leader nominates their counterpart for the National Assembly.
Earlier, Sitaula was nominated as the leader of the parliamentary party in the National Assembly by the then parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Similarly, Abhishek Pratap Shah has been nominated as the deputy leader for the House of Representatives. Parliamentary party leader Angdembe nominated Shah as the deputy leader.
Similarly, Angdembe has nominated Basana Thapa as the chief whip of the parliamentary party in the House of Representatives and Nishcal Rai as the whip.
