A meeting of the opposition parties held at Singha Durbar on Monday discussed Prime Minister Shah's statement. The meeting, which lasted for about an hour, concluded that Prime Minister Shah's statement was wrong.
For this, it has been decided that Prime Minister Shah should come to the parliament and apologize, said Yubaraj Dulal, Chief Whip of Nepal Communist Party. Further, they have also decided that the Prime Minister's remark must be removed from the parliament record.
The opposition party leader Bishma Raj Angdembe had called a meeting of the opposition party lawmakers represented in the parliament this afternoon after Prime Minister Balendra Shah made a controversial remarks in the parliament.
Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Sunday stated that not only India but also Nepal has encroached on the Indian land while addressing the questions raised by lawmakers in the House of Representatives meeting yesterday.
