Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has received a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives for the second time.
Prachanda had received 98 percent of votes of the Parliament on January 10 for the first time.
Prem Suwal of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) stood against the vote of confidence to Prime Minister Prachanda.
After UML (UML) quit the government on February 27, now NC has supported Prachanda to retain his premiership.
Ten parties including the NC are standing in favor of Prime Minister Prachanda. Ravi Lamichhane's Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Chitra Bahadur KC's Rastriya Janamorcha also stood in favor of Prachanda.
