Four lawmakers of Nepali Congress (NC) are going to take oath of office and secrecy as ministers today.
Under the leadership of Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, four ministers of the Congress will be sworn in as ministers.
Sources close to President Deuba said on Friday that Vice President Khadka, Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Ramesh Rijal and Sita Gurung are taking oath today.
Sources have informed that Khadka will take the oath as the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Defense.
Spokesman Dr. Mahat will take the oath as Finance Minister, Rijal will take the oath as the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies while Gurung will take oath as the Minister for Urban Development.
Gurung, who was elected from Tehrathum district, informed that she will take the oath as the Minister for Urban Development.
Similarly, Rijal also informed that he will take the oath as the Urban Development Minister.
The Congress has got eight ministries. It is said that the remaining four ministers will be sworn in at the next phase.
