Supreme Court (SC) of Nepal has directed Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) to collect the garbage inside Singha Durbar within three days.
Issuing an interim order on Friday, a single bench of Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut directed the KMC to collect the garbage inside Singha Durbar, the Office of the President and the Official Residence of Prime Minister, Baluwatar within three days.
Advocate Padam Bahadur Shrestha filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court against the KMC’s decision not to collect the garbage inside Singha Durbar.
Garbage has piled up on the premises of Singha Dubar after KMC Mayor Balendra Shah directed not to collect it.
