Manang Air chopper crash: All bodies brought to Kathmandu

The bodies of all six people who lost their lives in the Manang Air helicopter crash have been brought to Kathmandu.

The bodies of five Mexican tourists, including pilot Chet Gurung, were brought to Kathmandu on Tuesday evening by a helicopter belonging to another company.

All those bodies will be kept for post-mortem at the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.

The helicopter which took off from Surke helipad in Solukhumbu at 10:05 am crashed 8 minutes later at Lamjura Pass on the border of Likhupike Rural Municipality-5 and Dudhkunda Rural Municipality-2 near Mt Everest, killing all six people including the pilot on board.
