The mortal remain of Constituent Assembly Chairman and late CPN (UML) Vice Subas Chandra Nembang is being cremated with state honors today.
Prior to the funeral rites of Nembang, there had been a funeral procession from his residence Baluwatar to Pashupati Aryaghat, with a squad of Nepali Army playing mournful tunes.
The funeral procession reached Pashupati Aryaghat via Teaching Hospital, Maharajganj, Dhumbarahi and Chabahil.
Leaders from various political parties, activists, supporters and well-wishers and people in general are participating in the funeral procession.
