UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for immediate and unconditional release of all hostages in Gaza.

"From Nepal, I will continue to insist for immediate and unconditional release of hostages in Gaza. There is no justification, ever, for killing, injuring and abducting civilians", Secretary-General Guterres who is on an official visit to Nepal wrote on a social media.

It has been suspected that Hamas militant group had held hostage Bipin Joshi of Nepal. Joshi has not come to contact after the terrorist group's attack on Israel.

Some 10 Nepali students were killed in the attack. The terrorist group had launched a lethal attack on Israel on last October 7.
