Nagarik Unmukti’s Chaudhary elected from Kailali-2

Nagarik Unmukti's Arun Kumar Chaudhary

Arun Kumar Chaudhary of Nagarik Unmukti Party has won the seat of House of Representatives (HoR) from Kailali-2.

According to the election updates unveiled by the Office of the Returning Officer, Kailali, Chaudhary defeated Jhapat Bahadur Rawal of CPN-UML by a margin of 5,743 votes.

Chaudhary garnered 21,871 votes while his rival Rawal of CPN-UML received 16,012 votes.

Similarly, CPN (Maoist Center)’s Bhagat Bahadur Badhuwal who was jointly fielded by the democratic-left alliance, got 15,116 votes.
