UML's Raghubir Mahaseth wins HoR seat from Dhanusha-4

UML leader Raghubir Mahaseth

CPN-UML candidate Raghubir Mahaseth has won the elections to the House of Representatives from Dhanusha-4.

Mahaseth garnered 32,236 votes to defeat Mahendra Yadav, deputy general secretary of Nepali Congress, who received 32,112. The vote difference between the two is 124.

Mahaseth had also been elected as a member of the House of Representatives in 2074 BS.

With this win, UML has garnered the highest nine seats in the HoR in Mahesh Pradesh.
