NC's Gyanendra Bahadur Karki emerges victorious in Sunsari 4

Nepali Congress candidate Gyanedra  Bahadur Karki has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Sunsari-4.

Karki defeated his closest rival of CPN-UML Jagdish Prasad Kusiyait by 112 votes.

According to the final results, Karki, who is also the Minister for Communication and Information Technology, garnered 30, 483 votes against 30,371 received by Kusiyait.

The Office of the Chief Returning Officer is yet to make a formal announcement of the results.

A total of 81,119 votes were cast here in this constituency.
