Sexagenarian couple killed in cold blood in Parbat

A couple were ruthlessly killed at Mallaj Daha in Jaljala Rural Municipality-2 in Parbat district.

According to the District Police Office, Parbat, 68-year-old Surya Bahadur GC and his wife 65-year-old Gamala GC were murdered in cold blood while they were sleeping in their house on Monday night.

The bodies of the GC couple were found in their house this morning, said ward chairman Prakash GC.

Only the elderly couple were staying in their house, according to GC.

“The couple were apparently struck to death with a cudgel,” he said, “A team of police has arrived at the incident site. The team is investigating the case with a sniffer dog roped in from Pokhara.”

A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, Parbat, Khumlal Bhusal, has reached the incident site.
