Nepali team has returned home after registering a win in the ACC Women’s Cup 2024 underway in Sri Lanka.
The team was received with a warm welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Thursday morning.
Nepal secured a historic win in the ACC Women’s Cup by defeating UAE by six wickets. Nepal, in its final match, suffered an 82-run defeat at the hands of defending champion India.
Earlier, Nepal had crashed out of the ACC Women’s Cup in the group stages of both the 2012 and 2016 editions.
ACC Women’s Cup 2024 which started on July 19 will conclude on July 28.
