The weather is generally to completely cloudy in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the provinces, Saroj Pudasaini, a meteorologist, said.
According to Pudasaini, heavy rain is forecast at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces today. The maximum temperature today will range between 27 to 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 21.2 degrees Celsius.
The weather will be partly to generally cloudy today afternoon as well. There is a possibility of light to moderate precipitation along with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places of the rest of the provinces.
Likewise, it will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Meteorologist Pudasaini said that there is possibility of light to moderate precipitation along with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces, and at a few places of the rest of the provinces.
There are also chances of heavy rainfall at some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, according to the Department.
