One person died, and eleven others were in an accident that occurred in Dang on Friday.
A bus (Ra 1 Kha 816) heading en route to Ghorahi from Tulsipur collided with a motorcycle (Ra 5 Pa 6654) coming from the opposite direction on the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road near Gurjekhola in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-10.
The motorcycle rider, 44-year-old Dilip KC of Ghorahi-10, lost his life in the accident, said District Police Office spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ishwar Thapa.
A total of 22 passengers were traveling on the bus when it met with the accident.
The injured are receiving treatment at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, according to DSP Thapa. The bus driver, 53-year-old Gopal BK of Fursekahli, Ghorahi-18 has been arrested.
