JSP-N condemns mistreatment of players of Madheshi community during NPL event

Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has objected to the misdemeanor directed toward the Madheshi community during the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Issuing a statement on Monday, co-chairman of the JSP-N, Rakam Chemjong, condemned the mistreatment during the NPL stating that sports should be a means of brotherhood and unity.

"Sports is the means of brotherhood, social goodwill and unity," Chemjong said in the press note, "Some groups mistreated some players of the Madheshi community, disrupting social harmony and national integrity. JSP-N strongly condemns such kinds of mistreatment, racial hatred and discrimination."

Meanwhile, JSP-N has sought an appropriate action against those involved in mistreating the players of Madheshi community.
