Milan Acharya, a murder-accused of his father and brother at Balkot in Bhaktapur, who was on the run after allegedly committing the crime, has surrendered to the police.
Police were searching for Milan on suspicion that he murdered his father Kul Prasad Acharya, 56, and his 22-year-old younger son Prabin, who were found dead in a rented room in Suryabinayak Municipality-2, Balkot, Bhaktapur on Monday morning.
Milan is Kul Prasad's eldest son. Police say that Milan, 25, surrendered to the Police Circle, Maharajgunj this morning and admitted to the crime. SP Madhav Budhathoki, Chief of the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, told Nepalkhabar, "Milan has come in contact with us. He has admitted to the crime. We are bringing him to the District Police Range, Bhaktapur."
A preliminary investigation of the police concluded that Milan was involved in the murder of his father and younger brother that occurred at Balkot in Bhaktapur on Saturday night.
