A person died and three others sustained injuries when a tractor met with an accident in Syangja.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sabdul Ansari of Gadhimai Municipality-11, Bara.
"Sabdul Ansari, 22, of Gadhimai Municipality-11, Bara, died on the spot and three others sustained injuries in the accident," Police Inspector Umesh Lal Shrestha told Nepalkhabar.
The accident occurred when the tractor (Lu 4 Ta 7831) carrying bedding materials lost control and fell some 40 meters down the road on the Birgha-Mirmi road section at Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-3 in Syangja district on Tuesday evening.
The injured are Arjun Shah, 24, of Kalaiya Sub-metropolitan City-10, Bara, Salam Mudin Mansuri, 26, of Kalaiya-11, and Sikindar Yadav, 14, of Gadhimai-11.
Shrestha informed that the condition of Shah and Mansuri among the injured is critical.
After receiving minor treatment at Kaligandaki Hospital in Syangja, they were taken to Lumbini Medical College, Palpa, for further treatment.
