Foreigner Minister Saud meets with UN DSG Jean Pierre

Foreigner Minister NP Saud who is in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly has met with UN Deputy Secretary General for Peace Operations Jean Pierre Lacroix.

During the held on the sidelines of the 78th UNGA on Monday, matters related to the Nepal-UN partnership in UN peacekeeping including deployment, training, safety, and security of peacekeepers were discussed, Minister Saud tweeted.

Similarly, Minister Saud had a fruitful meeting with the Foreign, Trade, and Development Cooperation Minister of Finland, Ville Tavio.

In the meeting held on the sidelines of the 78th UNGA, the two ministers discussed matters of mutual concern and exchanged views on further strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation, the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations said.

Likewise, Minister Saud had a productive bilateral meeting with Dr. Ivica Dačić, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Serbia at the UN headquarters in New York on Monday.

During the meeting held on the sidelines of the 78th UNGA, the two leaders exchanged views on further strengthening the bilateral relations between Nepal and Serbia, it is learned.

Similarly, Minister Saud also held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Romania Luminita Teodora Odobescu on the sidelines of the UNGA.
