Departmental team APF has become a champion of the Prime Minister Cup Women’s T20 national cricket tournament after two years.

APF which crashed out of semi-finals in the last edition lifted the trophy for the first time by shattering the dream of Koshi Province.

Held at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Wednesday, APF defeated Koshi by 11 runs.  Koshi was restricted to 103 runs while it was chasing the target of 115 runs set by APF.

Despite scoring considerable 62 runs by Captain Rubina Chhetry, she could not lead her team to victory.
