Nishan Bhattaria, a popular singer and the first runner-up of Nepal Idol season 1, a singing reality show, and his wife model Richa Neupane have divorced in a mutual consent.
Nishan and Richa legally ended their conjugal relationship on March 20 after three and a half years together after their relationship turned sour.
A single bench of Kavre District Court Judge Bishwanath Bhattarai settled the case based on the petition for divorce filed by the couple.
Nishan and Richa's divorce was finalized through a mutual agreement by the court after they submitted a signed document, including fingerprints, in line with Section 193 of Nepal's Civil Procedure Code (2017).
They had got married on August 11, 2020 at the District Court in Kavre following a two-year relationship.
Nishan and Richa's relationship blossomed while they filmed the Nepali music video 'Lahur Jane Rail.’
