Govt provides cash prize of Rs 1.3 mln each to cricket players

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has provided Rs 1.3 million each to the players of the Nepali National Cricket Team.

The ministry distributed cash prizes worth Rs 1.3 million each to 15 players who have qualified for the T20 World Cup amidst a congratulatory program organized at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Singha Durbar on Sunday.

Similarly, coaches, team managers, assistant coaches and physios have also been honored with cash prizes.

The government provided cash prizes worth Rs 29.71 million to the cricket players. The award had been announced after the Nepali team qualified for the World Cup.
