An earthquake has struck the eastern hilly district with its epicenter at Tapethok in Taplejung district.
The tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 10:46 pm on Tuesday, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur.
Earlier on June 28, an earthquake had occurred with its epicenter at Helambu, Sindhupalchowk.
