Two woman died and the other woman sustained injuries after being struck by lightning strikes in Banke district.
The lightning struck them when they were planting rice in Raptisonari Rural Municipality-2, Kanchanapur.
The deceased have been identified as Samjhana BK, 32, and Basanti Upadhyaya, 33, said District Police Office, Banke.
Similarly, Salina BK sustained injuries. She is undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Teaching Hospital of Nepalgunj Medical College, said police.
