Nepal-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group's first meeting concludes

The first meeting of the Nepal-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group has concluded. The meeting was coordinated by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Member of Parliament (MP) Biraj Bhakta Shrestha.

The meeting decided to make the Parliamentary Friendship Group more active and effective to further strengthen the long-term relationship between Nepal and the UK.

During the meeting, the participating MPs held extensive discussions on various aspects of Nepal-UK relations. Coordinator Shrestha informed that the group will prioritize regular dialogues, exchange of experiences, and programs to enhance mutual understanding between the parliamentarians of both countries in the coming days.

Similarly, the meeting also expressed a commitment to deepen the historical relationship between Nepal and the UK and to move forward in institutionalizing and strengthening parliamentary diplomacy.

The Nepal-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group has prepared to carry out planned activities with strategies that will benefit both countries in the days ahead.
