Nepal has ended its UAE tour without a win after it suffered a fourth consecutive loss against UAE in the final match of the ICC Men's World Cup League 2 held in Dubai today.
Nepal lost to UAE by 4 wickets in the tri-series final match after the latter chased down the 240-run target set by the opponent in 49.1 overs losing 6 wickets.
Earlier, Nepal lost to the US by 106 runs in the first match and by 4 wickets in the second match, while it lost to the UAE by 5 wickets.

For UAE's win, Muhammad Shahdad topped the score with 96 runs including 6 fours and 3 sixes off 123 deliveries followed by Muhammad Waseem with 76 runs. Waseem 4 fours and 3 sixes off 73 balls.
Similarly, Shoaib Khan, Alishan Sharafu and Harshit Kaushik contributed 29, 18 and 13 runs, respectively.
On the bowling side, Nepal's Karan KC took the highest 3 wickets while Nandan Yadav, Lalit Rajbanshi and Sandeep Lamichhane claimed 1 wicket each for Nepal.
Earlier, invited to bast first after losing the toss at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Wednesday, Nepal notched up 239 runs losing 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Bhim Sarki topped the score with 48 runs including 7 fours off 68 balls followed by Kushal Malla with 45 runs while Dipendra Singh Airee and Aasif Sheikh scored 37 and 34 runs, respectively. Aarif Sheikh and Sandeep Lamichhane contributed 30 and 15 runs, respectively.
In reply, Junaid Siddique, Muhammad Jawad Ullah and Dhruv Parashar took 2 wickets each while Zahid Ali claimed 1 wicket for UAE.
Points table
The United States, which has played 24 matches in the league, is atop the table with 36 points from 18 wins and 6 losses.
Scotland, which has played the same number of matches, is in second place with 30 points from 13 wins and 7 losses and has shared points from 4 matches.

The Netherlands, which has played the same number of matches, is in third place with 28 points from 13 wins, 9 losses and has shared points from 2 matches.
Oman, which has played 20 matches, 11 wins, 7 losses and has shared points from 2 matches, is in fourth place with 24 points.
Canada, which has played 24 matches in the league with 9 wins, 12 losses and has shared points from 3 matches, is in fifth place with 21 points.
Namibia, which has won 9 matches, lost 14 matches and has shared points from 1 match, is in sixth place with 19 points.

Nepal, which has played 20 matches in the league, is in seventh place with 12 points from 5 wins, 13 losses and has shared points from 2 matches.
The UAE, which has played the same number of matches, is at the bottom with 10 points from 5 wins and 15 losses.
