Three killed in Dailekh truck accident

The truck was ferrying cooking gas cylinders

Three people were killed when a truck laden with cooking gas cylinders met with an accident in Dailekh.

An ill-fated truck, Bhe 1 Ka 2201, heading to Dailekh ferrying cooking gas cylinders from Nepalgunj, met with the accident along the Surkhet-Dailekh road section at Guras Rural Municipality-4 in Dailekh district at 8:40 am today.

The deceased have been identified as truck driver Krishna Chaudhari, 31, helper Laxmi Ram Chaudhari, 26, and Bishnu Chaudhari, 23, said District Police Office, Dailekh.  Their addresses are yet to be ascertained.

The truck was carrying Manakamana gas cylinders, according to the District Police Office, Dailekh.

The truck, which was carrying Manakamana gas cylinders, had fallen 150 meters down the road, said said police.

The co-driver Prakash Kumai has sustained injuries.
