Political parties in Koshi Province have summoned the sides agitating over the province name, to stop unconstitutional activities and come to peaceful talks.
The major provincial political parties CPN UML, Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Center and RPP have made the urge for dialogue with the agitating sides.
The parties have also extended gratitude to lawmakers at the province assembly for the support extended to finalizing the province name.
Issuing a statement the parties have said province naming is not vested to a single party but a constitutional right of all provincial assembly lawmakers.
