Newly elected General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Padma Prasad Pandey, has taken an oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Pandey amidst a program at the Office of the Federal Parliament Secretariat this morning.
President Ramchandra Paudel on Tuesday appointed Pandey to the post of General Secretary. Prior to this, the secretary at the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Pandey was serving as the acting general secretary after Dr Bharat Raj Gautam resigned from the post citing personal reasons.
