The newly elected nineteen Members of Parliament (MPs) including Krishna Prasad Sitaula have taken an oath of office and secrecy.
Deputy Chair Urmila Aryal administered the oath to the new MPs at Lhotse Hall of Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar amidst a ceremony on Monday.
MPs took the oath in their respective mother tongues in line with Section 68 (2) of the National Assembly Elections Act, 2075.
They had been elected on January 25.
