Not only devotees, but also babas from India have arrived at Pashupati. They are celebrating the festival by lighting a fire – called Shiva Dhuni on the premises of the temple.

A huge number of babas do come from India to observe Maha Shivaratri which falls on the Falgun Krishna Chaturdashi every year.
